Relight My Choir is a fun, friendly, adults only group for singing, performing, and laughing, born from a desire by Gem to offer an alternative to the traditional 'stuffy' choir many of her friends would never dream of joining.

Meeting every Tuesday evening between Bournemouth & Poole (currently online due to Coronavirus restrictions), it's a relaxed - although often raucous - place for grown ups to sing, share stories, work on their mental health, and escape the everyday stresses and strifes of real life.

The experience is tailored to each individual, depending on their own talents and preference, there is no audition and no pressure, and the focus is firmly on fun first. 

​

Set lists are varied, definitely not your usual choir tropes, and there are opportunities for dancing and playing instruments for those who wish to partake. This is no ordinary choir.

Relight My Choir are currently working on a 'through the decades' show, and last year helped raise almost £1500 for their chosen charity Dorset Mind, as part of a Christmas variety concert organised by Gem in the local area.
